Canine Ultrasound Pregnancy Scanning
Canine Pregnancy Scanning in Rutland
Ultrasound scanning is offered for pregnancy confirmation in dogs at an appropriate stage of gestation.
Scans are carried out with care to minimise stress and ensure the dog’s comfort at all times. The purpose of the scan is to confirm pregnancy; it is not intended for counting puppies or assessing litter size.
I am a qualified ultrasound practitioner and a member of the Animal Ultrasound Association, having passed the Advanced Course with distinction. The sheer joy of watching the gestation of puppies is unsurpassable, particularly once heart beats and bone structures can be observed.

| Subsequent scans (if appropriate) | £35 |
| Call out charge (20 miles max) | £30 |
A calm, individual approach
Not every service is suitable for every dog. I take time to discuss each enquiry carefully and will always be honest about whether a service is appropriate.
If I feel that a dog would be better supported elsewhere, I will be honest and discuss the matter carefully with owners.
